Our Story

Hi, I'm Alina, and welcome to my little corner of the world.

What began as a love of baking and creating beautiful gatherings has simply become one of my favorite ways to share joy with the people around me. Inspired by the things that bring me the most happiness—meaningful stories, fresh flowers, afternoon tea, and homemade treats—I wanted to create a cozy space where I could share a few of those things with others.

I've always believed that books and baking have a way of bringing people together. Some of my happiest moments have been spent with a cup of tea, a well-loved novel, and something fresh from the oven. While pursuing my studies and spending countless hours immersed in stories—both literary and human—I found that baking offered its own kind of magic: a gentle reminder to slow down, create with intention, and savor life's simple pleasures.

My Afghan heritage has also shaped many of the flavors and traditions I hold close to my heart. Inspired by the warmth and hospitality I grew up with, you'll often find touches of cardamom, pistachio, and rosewater woven throughout the recipes I love most. Rooted in tradition and guided by a love of beautiful things, I hope that whatever comes out of my kitchen feels comforting, nostalgic, and just a little whimsical.
